Back Country Riders Association - BCRA The BCRA is an exciting new association dedicated to backcountry snowmobile riders and the first ever judged competitions. All events will be judged.

The BCRA is a new association that will be the sanctioning body for back country snowmobile events. Riders will be able to join as a permit holder as long as they have not won any money competing in events prior to the 2015 season. If you have competed and won monies then you will be automatically moved to card status. Also to become a member you must complete a avalanche safety course and provide

documentation from that course. To enter the course for competition a rider MUST have helmet, protective vest, beacon, Avy air bag with shovel and probe. This will be on use of terrain as well as rider ability and control. These events will also be stock motor events. No turbo's or NOS. The BCRA will be a sanctioning body. Events will be put on by committees and promoters. There will be competition cards (card and permit), non competition cards (judges,secretary ) committee cards.
