Today is the day I dreaded.........my last day of classes at Studio 2........ 😞😭

9 YEARS ago I went out on a limb and opened up my own place.....it’s been an amazing 9 years!!! I didn’t put much thought into it at the time on having my own place....I Had NO idea the interest and growth I’d experience over the last 9 years.......All I knew at the time is Jackson was sad with no place to go for tumbling. Cheerleaders were struggling in town of not really having any tumbling skills and just in general kids didn’t have much to do. I grew up at Gingers Dance, Flip and Twist competing in tumbling as I grew up! I loved it! I wasn’t the BEST but it was favorite thing to do as a kid. After high school, I was asked to teach my own class at the YMCA,I taught up until I was 9 months pregnant with my now 11 year old, Madden. I took a break after having him for 2 years. I couldn’t stand that there was no where for kids to experience what I did as a child in tumbling classes. I wanted to do my own thing and decided to open my own place so I could run it the way I wanted to run it. It was a huge success! I’ve met so many kids! Some that have been with me for 9 whole years! Some that have been with my since they were in my mommy and me class and are now 9!😭 I’m starting to see some graduate! (Actually, Valedictorian, Madison Strawser last night...Congrats Madison and all of the other Graduates)

Closing down with a wait list of over 40 kids on my Beginner wait list and a page of kids for my toddler and mommy and me wait list is extremely hard! I hate it to be quite honest. I hate closing with the ones that had just joined that were showing SO much improvement and not giving them the opportunity reach their full potential and of course the ones that have been with me for a while and are working so hard to meet their next skill! To be a part time job and have nearly 700 kids a year is AMAZING! Thank you for supporting my small business! Thank you for trusting me and my staff with your children! Thank you For EVERYTHING! I hope to be back soon! I hope to find a place that is bigger and better! (Which was needed too as I feel I was outgrowing what I had once again) 💕🤸‍♀️💕

I’m attaching the note that was passed out to my classes last week explaining what’s going on as to why I’m having to close up for a while. I will be keeping my Studio page and will update if/when I find a new place!

I wish your children so much success......I will be watching for videos on Facebook! One thing I love the most about Facebook is staying in touch!

Cheerleaders in our tumbling classes that are selling raffle tickets......bring me a ticket tonight! I will hopefully have enough cash on me to purchase a ticket off of each of you!!!!

Saturday Tumbling Classes start TOMORROW!!!!

Class Time Reminders:
Mommy & Me: 9:00am-9:25am
3-4 Year Old Toddler: 9:40-10:25am
Beginner: 10:40am-11:35am
Beginner: 11:50am-12:45pm

Important Reminders:

PLEASE be on time for class.......it is okay to be late if you are rushing from ball to tumbling but just in general, please try and be on time if that is not the case. It’s a huge disruption for our little ones attention span for late arrivals. 😬🤪

ONE person per child may stay and watch. One person (this means no siblings allowed unless they are the one person watching) This person must be wearing a mask!!!

Enter front door, exit back door (except for Advanced Class). If you do drop off and pick up, we will meet you around back with your child after class 🙂

Pull long hair back in a pony tail.

Children do not have to wear a mask while tumbling but are welcome to. (If they wear a mask during class and someone would be covid positive a few days later, they will more than likely not have to be quarantined if they wear their mask during class) Again, not mandatory. I would prefer the gymnast to wear their mask upon entering and exiting but not mandatory unless they are over 10 🙂

Do NOT arrive more than 10 minutes before class. Try to let the class prior clear out before the next class enters. This time gives the instructors time to disinfect the mats appropriately 🙂

If you still need to pay, please bring checks made payable to Amanda Oliver or Studio 2 or bring exact change. Parents, If you need to fill out a 2021 registration form, please be sure to complete the registration form before dropping off and picking up if you do drop off and pick up. Otherwise, you may complete while your child is in class 🙂

Softball stole my sub-advanced kids this session BUT I’m so happy to see them play! It’s great and I could not be more happy to see them do more than one sport! (Although, it could leave Tuesday and Thursdays alone lol)

With that being said,

SUB-ADVANCED class openings. Next session starts 4/20. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 6:50-7:35pm. $75 for the 6 week session.

I have 5 spots available.
Must be able to do the following:
Cartwheel
Round off
Running round off
Back bend come up
Back bend kickover/back walkover

This class focuses on the back handspring.

Message me if you’d like a spot.

All other classes are full. (I’m still working through wait lists and contacting) If you are not on a wait list and would like to be added for a future tumbling session, please message me and I’ll get you added on 💜

Hey Everyone! I haven’t got the next session organized just yet. I’ll do my best to do that tomorrow and this coming week. I’ve actually taken a break and enjoyed it on the beach with my family! I’ll work my wait lists starting tomorrow or Monday! 💙💜
