Ski swap-this weekend!!! https://jhskiclub.org/programs/annual-ski-gear-swap

Things to get right as you pick out Ski Swap skis:

Discipline: CLASSIC, SKATE, TOURING
The gear for each discipline is a little different and not necessarily interchangeable.

BOOTS - Fit is paramount - even a great deal on boots that don't fit right is not a great deal.

SKIS - Skate skis should be eye-to head-height. Classic skis should be between your elbow and wrist with your hand held overhead. Touring skis should be similar to classic, or shorter if they are wider than 90mm in the tip.

POLES should be armpit high for classic and touring, and chin to nose high for skate.

XC SECTION SWAP HELP: The Ski Club coaches and volunteers staffing the cross-country section are typically very knowledgeable, and ready to help you find the best fit to meet your equipment and XC goals.
