“I have been interested in trying yoga and pilates for a long time, but for years, I allowed my fear of working out in public keep me from taking that first step. I had convinced myself that a body like mine didn’t belong in those spaces. Thankfully, I was very wrong.

Taking that first class turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself.  I have been attending classes for about 8 months now, and I cannot imagine my life without it. It has become such an important and meaningful part of my routine.

With Megan’s kindness, patience, and gentle encouragement, I’ve discovered that I am capable of things I never thought possible. Of course, I feel stronger physically, but the changes go far beyond that. I am learning to appreciate my body for what it can do instead of focusing on what I thought it couldn’t. I am beginning to not only love my body but also recognize its strength, and I have found a confidence in myself that I didn’t know existed.

This growth comes from the environment Megan has created. She has built this unbelievably welcoming and accepting space, and I fully believe she cares for every single person who walks through her doors. I am so incredibly grateful that I found the courage to walk through them myself.”
