Sending prayers to the family of beloved Tigers who lost their lives, our faculty, staff and students during this time 💙🤍
As our Jackson State University community continues to process the tragic off-campus incident, our hearts remain devastated for our students who were victims of this violence, including the family of one of our students who succumbed to injuries at the scene. In moments like this, JSU will lean on one another and embody what it means to be family.
Undergraduate classes are canceled Mon & Tue, and graduate courses are moved to virtual instruction during this time to give students time to process this tragedy. Counseling services are available for students and employees who may need support during this difficult time.
