It takes a village of partners and families to put the event on, but it also takes a city to bring it to life!
In a matter of hours, Jackson transformed into Mackerville and back again to Jackson thanks to the support of a number of departments across the City of Jackson, Michigan Government.
The Downtown Jackson DDA built the team of partners to bring the event to downtown, including:
Department of Public Works - unloading/loading of baskets, moving of stages and hoops, and barricade delivery for road closures
Parks, Recreation, Cemetaries and Trails - beautification, bleachers, waste management, and more
City of Jackson Police Department - event safety and security
City of Jackson Fire Department - on-site emergency medical and EMT
Engineering Department - electric access and infrastructural alignment on the festival setup
