Here are our standings after 1 week of action for our HIGH SCHOOL girls rec league!

Next Level went undefeated on opening day, going an impressive 4-0 with a +20 point differential! It was their short week, which means they had to work twice but from here on out they will be playing 6 games! Can they keep up the winning? Let's hope so!

Da Emoters finished the night with an impressive 5-1 record, despite having only a +6 in point differential! That means that every game was close, including the one game they lost, but in the end - 5 wins means more than any point differential will ever mean!

Block Party also had an impressive night, going 4-2, with their 2 losses being to Da Emoters in EXTREMELY close games! Their point differential is a staggering +56 even though they're in 3rd place! Kudos to you, ladies!

What a GREAT night of volleyball! We saw a lot of laughter, a lot of smiles, and a lot of the girls just going out and having FUN! That's what this league is all about! A LOT of close games were played, and TEAM 6 officially transformed into BLUE GOOSE! Those girls were coming together by the end of the night, so watch out for them in Week 2!!!

HAPPY OPENING DAY for the High School Girls Rec League players!

The Middle School girls had their debut on Tuesday night, now tonight it's time for our high school girls to get it started!

If you're a player in this league, please be at the Michigan Sports Facility tonight NO LATER that 5:40 PM. The first games tip off at 6:00 PM but we want you to have time to get your shirts (jerseys), warm-up, get loose, and attend our brief season-intro meeting!

The doors will be open as early as 5:00 PM if you want to come in and get some extra warm-up time.

We would like to remind everyone once again that this is a REC league, designed for the girls to go out there and just have fun! Sure, it is modeled like a regular league, we are keeping track of wins and losses and stuff, but at the end of the day this is designed for the players to gain experience and keep them from being rusty all summer!

There are some girls who have been playing volleyball for years, and some that have barely if ever played before. Please keep that in mind, and remember that with every serve, every volley, and every point scored, EVERYONE is learning.

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends - we highly encourage you all to come out and support your players! We have brokered what we consider a very reasonable rate for spectators for these events - $5 for adults, $2 for anyone under 18, and $15 as a max for a family!

Parents and players who have signed up for our inaugural session of 6 on 6 rec volleyball - PLEASE check your texts and emails! The deadline for sign-ups for high school was yesterday and now we are forming teams and collecting payment. The VAST majority of you have already paid, thank you for that!

But there are some individual girls who we are still waiting for payment from. Please check your texts / emails and respond with how you would like to pay!

THANK YOU to everyone who came out for Family Fun Night! May 2026! last night! Great times were had by all! Thank you to The Facepaint Faerie for coming out and making some AMAZING faces on the kids!

The two organized, family games of beachball volleyball were definitely the highlights of the night - game 1 the kids beat the adults 25-21, and in game 2 the boys beat the girls by a score of 25-17! But MAN there were a lot of laughs, smiles, and fun all around during both games!

We will be back for Family Fun Night on Friday, June 26th and this time we will be unveiling several new attractions! Make sure to follow the Michigan Sports Facility page to see when that event page gets launched, but we look forward to seeing you all on June 26th!
