Well, field 1 is watering down and is ready to be played On!!!!

The grading and irrigation is complete and the first load of sod has just been delivered for fields 9/10/11!!!

One more field to go after this one is done (field 2)!!!

Irrigation brought to field 9/10/11 over the last two days and now rough grading started this afternoon!! Hoping to have these fields done and ready by Sept 1, weather permitting!!!

Great news soccer fans!!! The Jackson Board of Alderman and Mayor voted Unanimously tonight to go ahead with the renovations of fields 9/10/11 (fields under the lights) and to go ahead and simultaneously start the renovation of field 2!!!! Plans are to have these go ahead and get started within the next two weeks and have them done before the winter and spring rains!!!! Hoping to have them done late August early September!!!!

Last Thursday/Friday it finally quit raining long enough to get the sod (Bermuda) laid on field 1!!!!’ Will be ready to...

Hello Soccer peeps.. with a sad emoji face 😢😢, we are going to have to post pone again on the grand opening of the new fields.. like the turf guys are telling, there’s rain, and then there’s too much rain. With almost 13 inches of rain in the past two weeks, they just don’t want to stress the fields too much right off the bat!! With the investment that has been made, it’s better to be safe than sorry!! If had had another few months of setting in, then we’d be talking a different story. I will update as soon as we have a new date…. 😩😩
