2026 Jackson Rockabillys Trip

The kids got autographs, some got foul balls, and they all got to go out on the field with the players during the national anthem.

There has been a lot of smiles and sweat tonight. It has been muggy but really fun.

We appreciate the Rockabilly’s allowing us to come out with the league.

Major Update for Rockabilly’s:
We were just told due to the rain out from yesterday that if our players want to run out on to the field they will need to be lined up on the third base side no later than 5:30‼️‼️. We know it’s a whole hour ahead of what we have been telling you all week but this is what we were told. We all know to well that rain changes things. I will be there at 5 to pass out tickets to the kids.

Let’s pack the place out for Crockett Youth Baseball and Softball Night!!

We wanted to remind everyone about the Jackson Rockabillys game this Saturday the 30th. Please arrive by 6:30 at the latest to make sure your player gets to run out on the field.
👕Please wear the league jersey.

👶🏻We will have tickets at the gate for the kids who played in the league this spring. The kids will receive a meal ticket with their admission ticket that the league will cover.

Our 2026 Regular Season has officially come to an end following tonight’s awards ceremony. What an incredible season it has been!

First, congratulations to all of our Regular Season Champions, Tournament Winners, and our 2026 All-Stars across every age group! We are so proud of each and every player. Now let’s go represent Crockett County and bring home some championships! ⚾🥎

A special thank you to Beth Meeks Williams for capturing these special memories for our players and families.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the Crockett County High School Baseball and Softball teams for helping present awards tonight. Your presence meant so much to these young athletes. It was inspiring to see the leadership you showed, and it’s clear how much these kids look up to you.

We would also like to thank, Brooks Rawson for handling our announcing for tonight.

I wanted to share a few words:

“With my first spring season as League President officially coming to an end… whew, what a rollercoaster it has been! But every challenge was worth it to see the kids out there playing, having fun, smiling, and yes even with Dippin’ Dots dripping down their chins. Those are the moments that make it all worthwhile.

I want to sincerely thank our parents, coaches, volunteers, and everyone who supported the league this season. Through the highs, the lows, and even the decisions that may not have always been perfect, your support and patience meant everything. I’ve taken notes, learned valuable lessons, and will continue making improvements to help our league grow and succeed for many years to come.

This season has been exciting, rewarding, overwhelming at times, and unforgettable but most importantly, we got through it together. Thank you for helping make this season such a success.”

The 1st Annual Coaches Tournament did NOT disappoint!

As most of the fan base confidently predicted sometime around the first post of teams 😅… Team Black came out on top and took home the bragging rights! 🏆⚫

But let’s be honest every team came out ready to compete like their athletic prime was definitely not 10+ years ago. 😂

🥈 White Team fought hard and claimed 2nd place.
🥉 Green Team rounded out the top 3.

Now for the important part…

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who made today happen:

⚾ The coaches thank y’all for showing up, risking pulled hamstrings, bruised egos, and tomorrow morning mobility issues… all for bragging rights. True dedication. 😂

⚾ The kids & families THIS is what it’s all about. Watching kids catch foul balls and home runs for outs, cheering loud, laughing, and making memories made the whole day worth it.

💦 Dunking booth participants y’all were absolute troopers. Some of y’all got way wetter than anticipated and a few kids may have discovered a new hidden talent for targeting adults. 😅 Thank you for helping us raise money and making it hilarious.

🍔 Concession stand ladies MVPs. Absolute MVPs. Y’all worked harder than some of the coaches did on the field 😂 and kept everyone fed, happy, and functioning. We appreciate y’all more than you know!

👨‍⚖️ Our kid umpires honestly… ICONIC. They made the calls, took zero nonsense, and reminded some grown adults what accountability looks like. 😂 Y’all did AMAZING and made the games even more entertaining.

🙌 Everyone who came out to support — whether you played, watched, bought concessions, donated, dunked someone, or just came for the chaos… THANK YOU. Every bit helps our kids, and that’s what this is all about.

🚓 Alamo Police Department thank you for helping with parking and security and making sure the only collisions were on the field.

🚑 Crockett County EMS thank you for being on standby just in case these coaches’ bodies gave out. Thankfully, no emergency stretching interventions were needed. 😅

70 Coaches split on 7 teams!

Here are the teams and bracket for the Coaches Tournament!
The color of their team is the color they will wear, so make sure everyone is matching up! 👀🔥

🏟️ TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
✅ Double Elimination
✅ 2 Fields Running
✅ 1 Hour Time Limit
✅ EMS ON SITE

🔥 GAME RULES 🔥
⚾ Home runs must be bought BEFORE the game starts
⚾ 3 strikes — NO balls, NO walks
⚾ Umpires will be our 11-12 year old league players
➡️ Their calls stand no matter what — please be respectful and set the example for the kids!

⚾ Foam baseball with a little weight
⚾ 30-inch wood bat provided (bring your own)
(And yes… before y’all ask… IT CAN LEAVE THE YARD 😅💣)

🧤 Gloves are OPTIONAL
😂 If foul a ball goes out of play and a KID UNDER 16 catches it in the air… ITS A OUT!
(So kids bring a glove!!)

💦 DUNKING BOOTH starts at 11:00 AM for Umpires and Eliminated teams immediately after 👀

This is gonna be less about power and more about STRATEGY, teamwork, and having a good time for the league and community. Let’s keep it competitive, respectful, and FUN! 🔥
