Every great shooter starts somewhere—and for many of our 7th, and 8th graders, this is that starting line. 💥
If you’re new to trap shooting, here’s the truth: most beginners shoot around 10–15 out of 25 targets when they’re just getting started. And that’s not just okay…that’s exactly where you’re supposed to be. Every round, every shot, you’re building skill, confidence, and focus.
To our younger shooters—welcome to the team. You belong here just as much as anyone. This sport isn’t about being perfect; it’s about showing up, learning, and having the courage to try again.
To our older athletes—you’re in that growth stage where things start to click. Stay patient. Small improvements turn into big scores over time, and your leadership matters more than you know.
We’re proud of every single one of you—for stepping up, supporting each other, and putting in the work.
Keep your head up, eyes forward, and let’s break some targets. 💪

Ever wonder the difference between trap shooting and s***t shooting? 🎯

Think of it like this…

Trap shooting is a surprise! The clay target flies away from you, but you don’t know exactly where it will go. It can go left, right, or straight. You stand in one spot and take your shot. It’s all about quick reaction and focus.

S***t shooting is more like a pattern. The targets cross in front of you from two set houses—one high and one low. You move to different spots, and the targets follow the same path each time. It’s about timing and rhythm.

Both are fun. Both take skill. And both will keep you on your toes!

If you’ve never tried either one, this might be your sign to give it a shot (pun intended 😉). Which one do you think you’d like better—trap or s***t? Let me know below!
