Saturday's Race Beaver Cycle Club recap! During practice and 85cc heat I struggled with my starts and being comfortable with the track. For my Open Youth heat I focused on naling my lines and corner entry speed. When the Mains came I felt ready and confident! 85cc Main- on the starting line I kept calm during 2 red light "jumpers" but when the green light lit, it was on! I managed to get the holeshot but only by 1/2 bike length. After a few laps of VERY close racing, I was able to take the Win! Open Youth Main- my friend rocketed off the starting line getting the holeshot and carrying a wheelie all the way to turn one. I was able to make a pass around the outside and take it to the checkers for another Win! I was very proud to keep focused and ride my best when it counted the most.

Cedar Lake Arena - Dual district season opener was a great time! My favorite part is getting to see my Flat Track friends from all over and ride for 3 days! Found my groove friday night and felt comfortable on my bike.

Saturday heats and Mains went smoothly getting holeshots and Finishing First in 85cc, schoolboy, supermini, and open youth.

Sunday was feeling good, winning my heats. Mains came around and I Finished First in Open Youth and Supermini, when the 85cc main came I slid out in turn 1 causing a red flag restart and being sent to 3rd row of 14 rider pack. Did my best to get back towards the front and finished on 4th place. Shook it off and won Schoolboy main to end the weekend.

I had so much fun on and off the track, making friends and memories.
