Friends of Snow Canyon State Park Snow Canyon State Park is truly one of the crown jewels of Washington County.

Friends of Snow Canyon is a non-profit and independent organization dedicated to preserving and protecting Snow Canyon State Park through education, advocacy, fundraising and volunteer efforts. Navajo sandstone domes, ancient lava flows, and majestic Kayenta cliffs offer a spectacular backdrop for every type of outdoor recreation. To all of us who treasure scenic beauty and the splendor of the natural world, Snow Canyon is absolutely priceless. Friends of Snow Canyon State Park was created specifically to provide financial and volunteer support for Snow Canyon State Park. Our goal is to find funding sources through grants, fundraising events, and membership dues to support park staffing and operations and to facilitate volunteers for park programs, events, and maintenance projects.
