💕🐴 Ride By Faith Update 🐴💕

Hey everybody! I wanted to hop on here and give a quick update. This summer has been wonderful and I am overwhelmed by the amount of support I have received. I wasn’t sure how this summer would go with giving lessons, preparing for my second year of teaching, and still just learning to navigate life! It was a huge success, thanks to all of you!! God blessed me with many wonderful people that taught me so much about horses and riding when I was a kid. More than anything, I wanted to find a way to do that for other kids this summer. I always tell people that Jesus & horses changed my life. It’s true, God has used my horses to teach me so so much. I have loved working with so many different kiddos and families this summer. While I have tried my best to pour into them, I am overwhelmed by how much they have all poured into my life as well. ❤️

My horses and I have worked very hard this summer and I have decided that after July 25th, I will not be giving any more lessons for the summer. I know that in order for me and my horses to serve you all the best we can, we have to take care of ourselves first. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. The school year will be starting before we know it and I have lots to do before then! Please continue to follow this page and I will do my best to post updates on when I will be starting lessons again. I may be able to take on one or two students during the school year!

When you’re only 6 years old, catching and haltering your horse all by yourself can be quite the process! Andi did such a good job today. She even put Maggie’s saddle pad on, and she lead her little brother around the arena when she was finished riding. I absolutely love working with this sweet girl!

Maggie made lots of friends this morning! Royce rode Maggie all over the pen. He practiced turning, stopping, and asking her to go. Denton had a ba****ck lesson. He focused on maintaining balance and riding with confidence. Great job, boys!! 😊 Keep scrolling to see some really sweet pictures. Little brother and sister wanted in on the fun too, so Maggie got lots of hugs and even a couple kisses. They brushed her all over, Maggie loved every minute! She even started to fall asleep a couple times!

The weather forecast & the storm clouds really had us convinced that is was going to storm on and off all day, so all lessons were canceled and rescheduled. Today, Maggie napped and ate a lot of grass. We are hoping for no storms and lots of riding tomorrow!
