RJL Knives RJL Knives makes some of the finest custom knives you can find. I do not make my own blades but do all of the custom handle work in my shop.

My Name is Robert Larson. As Knife collector, I used to spend some decent money on custom knives. One day my wife and I were at one of my favorite knife makers, Rayrock Springs - Elliott Wakefield's place when we noticed he was doing knife making classes. I did not think much of it at the time then my birthday rolled around and my wife gave me a certificate to attend his class. From then on I have

Haven't posted anything for a while. Found some photos of knives I have not featured here on RJL Knives. The Black and White Tanto and the Bear Tooth. The Bear tooth was a particularly challenging handle. This is a Bear Tooth from the first bear the son of a friend of mine took. I was able to encase the tooth in Epoxy to embed it in the handle.

The Bowie knife is the one I made for the Bellevue fire department 50TH Anniversary. It auctioned off for $500 and was donated back to the department and is now on display at the Bellevue Fire Department Training Center. I'm very proud of this knife and what it means to me and my family.
