Run with the Fishes The Run With the Fishes returns in 2025! The 45th 'Run with the Fishes' will take place at Lake Sammamish State Park on September 28.

After a couple of years hiatus, we are back with a new location, returning with a 10K in addition to the 5K fun run (and a 1K kids run!), as well as a beer garden and live music for celebrating afterwards! The event will feature not only 5K and 10K fun runs, there will be a beer garden, live music, and more as the runners return from the course, so plan to stick around! For the kids, there's a 1K fun run as well, sponsored (once again) by Arbor Schools. Oh, and for more fun, we're trying to set a record for most people running in a fish costume, so dress appropriately, or order one of our custom Fish Hats to run in, it should be a scream! Register Today to help keep this Issaquah tradition alive and vital, and support your local community non-profits working to make Issaquah a great place. Run with the Fishes is produced by the Issaquah Rotary Club. The Rotary Club of Issaquah is continually redefining itself through new members, new vision and activities, and new forms of local and global service. Our meetings are an informal gathering of friends who work together toward a common purpose – the betterment of our community and world. Run, walk, shuffle....just come on out for the revamped "Run With the Fishes" event coming September 27 to Lake Sammamish State Park!
More than just a fun run, we'll be kicking off with a Fish-themed costume contest before the 5K and the 10K events start at 9:30 a.m.

* Funniest costume

This year, we're adding a costume contest! Runners and walkers are encouraged to embrace the “Run with the Fishes” theme and get creative. Think fish, lake life, aquatic creatures, fishermen, mermaids, water-themed puns or anything else you can dream up. Costumes are completely optional, but there will be prizes for some of our favorites! (You will need to arrive by 9:30 if you want your costume to be included in the contest.)
