FULL TIME | 2-2 ⚔️

A hard-fought battle tonight at SUSA.

Down 2-0, Johan Velez brought us back into it with a strike from outside the box. Nine minutes later, Vaclav Borovicka rose up and buried the equalizer off an Alan Martinez corner.

Plenty of positives from the new additions as well. TJ Bernhard went the full 90, while Andrew Jean-Baptiste and Sean Towey put in strong 65-minute performances at the back. Selcuk Kahveci played the opening 45 and created opportunities going forward.

Showed character to fight our way back. We take the point and keep moving. 🖤💛

TJ joins Empire after a massive 2026 season with Met Oval in The League, earning:

THREE NEW ADDITIONS. 🟡⚫️

NY Empire FC strengthens the squad with the additions of Andrew Jean-Baptiste, Selcuk Kahveci & Cam Beale.

🇭🇹 Andrew Jean-Baptiste | Defender
Former MLS first-round draft pick by the Portland Timbers. The Haitian international has also represented Chivas USA and most recently Westchester SC in USL League One. A major addition to the back line bringing professional and international experience to Empire.

⚽️ Selcuk Kahveci | Forward
Long Island product and former Stony Brook and LIU standout joins Empire for the fall campaign.

⚽️ Cam Beale | Midfielder
SUNY Brockport alum with plenty of experience in the New York soccer scene, previously representing NY Braveheart and NY Renegades.
