Transformation Tuesday!

Gina has been working with me for several years now and she is the poster child for dedication, patience and perseverance.

What she may not realize is that, as bad ass boss lady for much of her life, she's already had these qualities within her. But when she was diagnosed with diabetes it was a wake up call to take control of her health. When she applied that same dedication, patience and perseverance to her health the results were beautiful inside and out!

She has completely changed her lifestyle. Her diet is unrecognizable from what it was several years ago(better than mine!), She makes sure to get 10,000-12,000 steps a day, even if it means walking in her basement at the end of the day and her workouts are just a part of her daily routine, even if she's tired or doesn't feel like it. She's lost weight and looks fabulous, as you can tell from the picture. But what you CAN'T see in the picture is that she's gotten her A1C down to normal levels. A1C is a test to measure blood sugar levels and diagnose diabetes.

She's an inspiration and I often use her story to motivate some of my other clients to not give up! It's been a privilege being able to help her on this wonderful journey! Show her some love!

Today have courage even in the face of uncertainty. Take risks and step toward what you really want out of life, even when there are no guarantees. Don't play the victim. Take control of your life and what you want to manifest. Victory does not come from the attainment of a goal, but instead occurs at the exact moment you choose courage instead of fear.

3)Plank Ts and Is (try 30 seconds each side)

4) Prisoner squat (keep your shoulder blades retracted/squeeze your upper back)
