MIRACLES ON THE OCEAN: Little different post from the normal fishing. So we were out on an afternoon trip and on the way in we were crossing paths with a sailboat. Sail was up so I adjusted my course and went around behind the sailboat. As I was adjusting back to my heading I thought I saw an arm come out of the water to my SW, I slowed down and looked and sure enough a person popped up and was franticly waving for help. In the middle of the ocean. I powered over to him and we threw the life ring to him, as we are trying to find out what he is doing out here (language barrier) he is pointing to the sailboat that is now approximately 2 miles away. He apparently fell off his boat that was under sail and power. No flotation device. We got him onboard and proceeded to catch up to the sailboat where there were two other gentlemen onboard sleeping. After sounding the horn for 3 or 4 minutes the two onboard the sailboat woke up and we transferred the gentlemen back to his boat. Why our paths crossed at that exact spot and time we may never know, Thanks to my crew and customers onboard this gentlemen lives to see another day. Just another normal day at sea.

Last trip 3-15. This was a tough crew, Conditions where sporty with 6 foot seas and occasional rain, They hung in there and had plenty of action with 4 sharks, 7 Blackfin Tuna, 4 Bonita and a Mahi and 2 Cero Mackerel to wrap up the day.. Then the whole family got in on some fine Tuna Sashimi at the dock.

Past 5 trips. Feb 7, 9, 12, 13, 14. Temps not there yet but getting better. Catching , Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Bonita, Barracuda, Sharks, King Mackerel, Mutton Snapper, Several shots at Sails but unfortunately no landings past couple trips.

Past two trips Feb 3 & 4. Cold temps Iguanas everywhere lol. Bundled up like I'm back on Pipeline work lol but still catching fish. Snapper bite a little slow with the temps but they are starting to chew. Fair amount of sailfish around. Had several opportunities each day. Some nice Mutton snapper along with Yellowtail and Mangrove Snapper

And I have to mention Allen "the man" and Stu "the mutton man" lol

Temps are getting back to normal, LETS GO FISHING
