Testing out the new Mangrove 21
and think it is a phenomenal skiff! I could fish longer in the west wind and ground swell because of the length of the boat stretching across waves. The combination of lightness, length and water displacement gives the guide poling a quick recovery in rough conditions. Landed two Tarpon with Angler, Scott Green this week.

In my experience, I've never seen such devastation to the Boca Grande fishery. It's heartbreaking. Please get educated, get the word out, and vote clean water to save Florida. Special thanks to all of the conservation groups that have been fighting to protect our water: Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, bullsugar.org, Captains for Clean Water, NoworNeverglades, and the Everglades Foundation. I found this 140 lb Tarpon floating just off Cayo Costa yesterday on a charter. The effects of this irregular spell of red tide are unacceptable and putting the Boca Grande Fishery at serious risk. Get involved with conservation groups, get proactive politically, and do your part in making a change for the betterment of our fishery and coastal lifestyle.
