Yoga with Tracy "A little bit of love goes a long way" - Elvin Semrad Tracy teaches tantric hatha, vinyasa flow, and yin-style yoga classes with an individualized approach.

She has been a dedicated practitioner of yoga since 2007, receiving her 200 hour training with Karina Ayn Mirsky. She has also studied with multiple senior teachers throughout the country, taking specialized training in Yoga for Anxiety, Yoga for Women's Health and Yoga of 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR). Her education in Women's Studies at the University of Michigan and Ayurveda flows into her teaching

as well. Her students describe her teaching as eclectic, challenging, fun and calming. She believes in yoga as a tool for transformation, to increase self-love and find balance.

So I realize that much of what I post on this page might not be considered “yoga” content by many. I share how I’m connecting to nature, inspirational quotes, cutesie memes…and less and less am I sharing a picture of me doing a yoga pose or asana. (Yes I will still do that if I’m in a particularly fun or inspirational place.)

The reason for that is because yoga is so much more than what our culture refers to as yoga.

So if you’re looking for headstands and a workout, I’m not your girl.

The yoga I want to share is a respect for and deepening relationship with yourself, your peers, your land, all living beings. The yoga I want to share is about how you tune in to your true self, to follow your own heart. The yoga I want to share is about healing and growth and acceptance.

Everything has a place. Just stating plainly where I am currently. 🙏🏼

So grateful for neighbors that allow me harvest what they aren’t using! I love mint for so many reasons and so glad to have noticed an abundance of it in my neighbors yard. She said she had been w**d whacking it, and she would stop doing that, knowing that I will use it.
