🐎 Straight from the horse's mouth...

When the dust kicks up and the chutes swing open at the 50th Annual Isanti Firefighters Rodeo, it's good to know we've got folks in our corner who understand what it means to take care of a community.

A heartfelt thank you to Allina Health for stepping up as a Platinum Buckle Sponsor and for standing ready to provide medical services for our competitors and spectators throughout rodeo weekend.

Their team at Cambridge Medical Center has long been a trusted partner of the Isanti Fire District, working alongside us when our neighbors need help most. Whether it's an emergency in our community or a bump, bruise, or broken bone on rodeo weekend, we're grateful to have experienced professionals just down the road and standing by when it matters.

As we prepare for the 50th Annual Isanti Firefighters Rodeo, we're beginning to wrap up our fundraising and sponsorship efforts for this year's event.

Before we do, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

For 50 years, this rodeo has been made possible by an incredible group of volunteers. Not just the firefighters of the Isanti Fire District, but also their spouses, children, parents, friends, and countless community members who donate their time year after year. While most people see the action in the arena, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of volunteer hours behind the scenes that make this event possible.

From setting up grounds and selling tickets to parking cars, serving food, coordinating sponsors, and cleaning up long after the last bull leaves the arena, this event is truly a community effort.

We're also incredibly grateful to the local businesses and sponsors who continue to support the rodeo and, in turn, support the mission of the Isanti Fire District. Their partnership helps make this event one of the premier rodeos in the region, drawing more than 10,000 attendees for a weekend of PRCA rodeo action, live music, family fun, and community pride.

While we're nearing our sponsorship deadline for this year's 50th Anniversary Rodeo, there is still time for businesses interested in being part of this milestone celebration. If you've been considering a sponsorship or advertising opportunity, we'd love to hear from you before we finalize this year's program.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. The freedoms we enjoy every day were made possible through their sacrifice, and their service will never be forgotten.

In that spirit of service and community, the Isanti Firefighters are proud to announce that this year’s 50th Annual Isanti Firefighters Rodeo will feature our first-ever pop tab collection benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities Upper Midwest.

Those small tabs help support families with seriously ill or injured children by providing comfort, care, and a home away from home during difficult times.

As you celebrate this weekend, start saving those pop tabs and bring them with you to the rodeo July 10th & 11th. We look forward to seeing our amazing rodeo community come together to support a great cause during this milestone year.

While this admin steals a rare free moment from everything else going on, I like to work on creating new advertising images for this year’s rodeo. I wanted to take a moment to recognize all of the firefighters, firefighters’ families, and volunteers who have done the same over the past 50 years.

The firefighters of the Isanti Fire District have not only left family gatherings, holidays, work, and sleep to answer emergency calls and attend training — they have also taken on the enormous responsibility of putting on the Isanti Firefighters Rodeo for our community year after year.

To all those who came before us: thank you. Your countless volunteer hours, dedication, and sacrifice have built this tradition into what it is today.

And to the local businesses, sponsors, rodeo fans, and supporters of the Isanti Fire District — thank you for continuing to stand behind us. We are proud and grateful that you will once again be here to support us as we celebrate this momentous 50th Annual Isanti Firefighters Rodeo.
