Folks, it’s Wednesday again! You know we’re bringing that why! Sometimes things come across your desk and you immediately know they are different—This story is a pretty big deal.
This guy was in an accident. He could’ve given up, but he’s used the gift of life to propel him into the next chapter. Read more ⬇️
🏋️Seth Peterson
Occupation: Seth is in recovery from a tragic accident, that left him paralyzed on the right side of his body with a severe traumatic brain injury.
Time at PRG: A member for one year prior to his accident, Seth has been back regularly at PRG for 2 months (way to go, bud!)
“I would like to create more function in my right arm, gain muscle strength in my whole body. I rejoined so I could eventually be physically strong enough to be able to go to college.”
What motivates you to continue?
“The fact I cheated death, and relearned to walk, still relearning to talk and move my right arm.”
What is different about PRG compared to other gyms you’ve visited? “People are friendly they don’t judge me for my current situation.”
What is your favorite workout(weights, cardio, etc)?
I like weightlifting, and I’m excited to get back to free weights, but until then I work on the machine.
Any snacks you love that keep you fueled for the day? I drink propel, protein shakes, eat almonds and protein chips. I really enjoy a sandwich too.
**If coming back from deaths door isn’t motivation enough for you, what’s it going to take? No excuses! This gym isn’t just about looking a certain way. It’s about transformation, strength, health and taking your life back.
Thank you, Seth! We appreciate your willingness to put yourself out there to spur others on in their health journey. Your testimony might be the best motivation for someone sitting on the sidelines!!
All right, who is next?! Wednesday Why! It doesn’t have to perfect, it just has to be progress!
