Bayou Area Basketball Association The mission of the Bayou Area Basketball Association (BABA) is to promote recreational basketball op Practices are held once per week for one hour.

The Bayou Area Basketball Association (BABA) holds two seasons annually. The Spring/Summer season holds registration dates in April and plays in May and June. The Fall/Winter season holds registration dates in October and plays in November, December and January. The Fall/Winter season takes longer to complete due to taking time off for holidays. EACH SEASON holds an evaluation day, practices, six games, playoffs and championship day. All games are played at the Bayou La Batre Community Center.
