Lights on the Creek Holiday Boat Parade!
Saturday, Nov 25
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm RRYC open to the public to enjoy hot cider and cookies while viewing the parade
7:00 pm After Party for club members, parade participants, and guests. Cost: $25/person BYOB

Participating boats will gather in Gaskins Cove (near Custom Yachts) at 5pm and will depart starting at 5:30. The parade will travel past the Yacht Club and on down past the Tides Inn, where it will then disperse. Boaters can then follow the lead boat back as far as the club if they wish.

And those on the creekside along the route, remember to decorate your dock and yard with lights, etc!

The first PHRF race of the season on Saturday was a good shake down for 9 boats which encountered south winds of 18+ knots and sustained gusts mid 20s and higher. It took 3 times to get the group selfie because we were rocking & rolling so much!

Wednesday night was the First Typhoon race of the spring series. 15 Typhoons sailed out!

Clean up day was a great success!

Wonderful Christmas dinner at the club last night. The meal was prepared by the RRYC Cruisers. Music was provided by our own Brad and Joanie Perry. Fellowship was celebrated by all, in this last official club event of 2022. See you next year!

Join us this Saturday, Nov 26 to watch the Lights on the Creek lighted boat parade from the RRYC dock. Cider and cookies will be served on the porch starting at 5pm and we expect the parade around 5:30pm. See you then!
