The ARA community has lost one of its own. Myles Weiss, two-time ARA President and a longtime leader of recovery in Southern California, has passed away.

Myles and his wife, Francine, shared 69 years together, and she was beside him through a career that began in 1962, when he opened Able Auto Adjusters and helped launch the California Association of Licensed Repossessors. Over the decades, so many people in this community leaned on his knowledge and advice.

Please keep Francine, Marc, and the entire Weiss family in your thoughts and prayers.

We're hiring! ARA is looking for a Compliance & Member Support Specialist to join our team, and it's a fully remote role.

If you care about accuracy, catch the details others miss, and like helping people get to the finish line, this one is for you. You will answer compliance and membership questions from recovery agents, ARA members, and clients by phone and email, review and process compliance documents, guide new members through onboarding and renewals, and follow every open item until it is resolved.

• Reports to the Client Operations Manager
• Travel about twice a year
• Recovery industry experience is not required

Experience in customer support, membership services, compliance, insurance, administrative support, or a related field is preferred.
