Champion Karate Academy(CKA) was founded on April 14, 2005 in Irving, Texas, USA by Sensei Sen (Senthil Thiyagarajan) and Sensei Pon (Ponmalar Senthil). CKA started with only 2 students and now has grown to more than 200 students. CKA mainly focuses on Sports Karate and follows the Shuko-Kai Sh*to-Ryu karate syllabus. The karate students of CKA are actively participate in all the Texas state and

USA Nationals Karate Championships and win many medals in all the championships they compete in. The Karate-Kas (students) of CKA have proved that Champion Karate Academy is really the "Home of Champions". CKA also has established branches at Lewisville & Frisco, Texas. The CKA slogan is:

What an amazing weekend for Team CKA at the JIC & US Open 2026 in Fort Worth, TX!

Team CKA stood at the top of the overall medal tally at the US Open and finished second in the Junior International Cup 2026.
