1,395 days from peak to valley.
That’s a hard thing to write—not because I’m upset about where I am, but because DAMN, I’ve lived a lot of life in these 3 years, 9 months & 27 days.
I got engaged, got married, moved twice, had a third baby, and kept raising three tiny humans. A routine that didn’t revolve around my babies? Basically nonexistent. 😂
I was 215 lbs the day before I had Slade. Today, almost 9 months postpartum, I’m 155.
And somehow, I’ve kung-fu circled right back to where this all started.
Six months postpartum with Maggie, I was 135 lbs. My body looked a lot like it does now—not big, just… lacking shape. The difference is, I love myself here now.
1,395 days ago, I didn’t.
I had zero confidence. I hated what I saw in the mirror. And that feeling is what drove me to pick up a weight and start this whole crazy ride.
And maybe this is the reverse of the usual fitness-influencer story. I’m not showing you the perfect before-and-after. I’m showing you the before, the after, and the after-after. 😂
Because sometimes you lose the weight. Sometimes you gain it back. Sometimes you have babies, change careers, get older, get busy, lose your routine, find yourself again—and then have to start over.
That doesn’t erase what you built before. Continued in comments… 👇🏼
