Nepal Dallas Cricket Club (NDCC) is a vibrant cricket community based in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to promoting the spirit of cricket among the Nepali diaspora and cricket lovers in the region. We pride ourselves in bringing together like-minded people who love to play cricket for fun. Our objective is to develop a platform where people can join to play cricket in their free time which helps them t

o improve their mental and physical health. Currently, around 200 people are associated with NDCC. We welcome everyone who loves to be a part of NDCC. Nep-Dallas cricket club goal is not just to play cricket but also serve Nepalese community.

NST Tournament – Concerns Regarding Event Management

First, we would like to thank the NST Cricket Tournament organizers for giving us the opportunity to play and experience Grand Prairie Stadium. Our team was excited to participate, and many players took time off work and committed four days to the tournament.

However, we were disappointed with the overall management. Our important do-or-die match, scheduled for 3:30 PM, started about 40 minutes late. With rain expected around 6:00 PM, we requested a reduced-overs game, but no management representative was available to make a decision. There were also delays in providing match balls and other arrangements.

What concerned us most was that the match result was posted in the captains' group before both captains were properly consulted. We were told the cutoff time was 7:30 PM, but decisions seemed to be made without considering our concerns.

The next morning, management asked us to attend a meeting at 8:00 AM. We attended, but no clear explanation was given regarding the decisions. Instead of providing answers, they call police. Is this valid ?

We understand that organizing a tournament is not easy, but better communication, planning, and on-ground management are important. Unfortunately, the lack of organization affected both our match and our overall tournament experience.
