Katie Nguyen literally does it all! She can score with ease, defend the opponents best player, dish out assists, and she crashes the glass relentlessly. Last night vs. Northern New Mexico she finished with 18 points (5-9 FG), 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 assists, earning Player of the Game ⭐️

It’s officially October which means it’s breast cancer awareness month. Show us your pink 💕
Each Wednesday of this month we want to honor and celebrate our Warriors who have battled breast cancer. Our first warrior is Laurie Rouse, mother of head coach Kyle Rouse.
Laurie was diagnosed for the first time in 1993 where she battled through chemotherapy and radiation to overcome the first bout with cancer. She was cancer free just about 15 years while working and never missing one basketball or sporting event for the family. Always the best and loudest fan!
In 2008 Laurie’s second battle began while being diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer.
Laurie continued to stay strong and always had the “don’t give up, don’t ever give up” mantra from
Laurie was the ultimate fighter until the Good Lord decided it was her time to join Him in Heaven. She became an angel on October 1st, 2013.
