09/21/2026

Hi everyone, it is with a heavy heart to share with you today that one of group members, Youssef Soliman, has unfortunately passed away unexpectedly in London. His family has set up a GoFundMe to bring him back to California for his funeral. Please consider donating if you have the means to do so. We will be taking a moment of silence before our games for Youssef and his family in his honor and memory. 💐💙

Subject: Soccer Field Access

Email to send after adding your name to the top and bottom:

Dear Mayor Agran, Irvine City Council, Great Park Board of Directors, and City Officials,

My name is (NAME) and I frequently play pickup soccer in Irvine. The City of Irvine provides free public access to illuminated facilities for the following sports: basketball, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, racquetball, handball, skateboarding and action sports, roller hockey, and table tennis. I am formally requesting equal public facility access for soccer players.

The ideal venue for this access is at the Orange County Great Park artificial turf fields, where several fields remain dark and unutilized in the evenings.

Thank you for your time, leadership, and consideration in supporting the local Irvine soccer community. I look forward to your response and proposed actions.

Sincerely,

(NAME)
