Today, athletes from both our Men’s and Women’s teams participated alongside coaches and alumni in this years UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge. The Anti-Cancer Challenge is a 5K Run/Walk fundraiser for cancer research at UCI. This year, the UCI Rowing community helped raise over $400 dollars for cancer research.

1979: Gold at Pan American Games.

1980: Qualifies for Moscow Olympics.

1984: U.S. Men’s Eight. Olympic podium. Silver.

ACRA is over, the dust has settled, but the fire has been ignited.

UC Irvine took 58 athletes to Tennessee, made several Petite Finals and was the only team in the nation to bring a W2N. We say goodbye to 21 athletes this season, and begin the process of rebuilding.

We would like to thank every parent, alumni, athlete and coach that made this season what it was. Our program would be nothing without your generosity and commitment.
