This is a great beginner exercise to emphasize both the upper and lower Abs simultaneously.⁣

Make sure to exhale deeply as you come together in the cannonball shape. ⁣

Also, perform this movement slowly, increasing the time under tension and results. ⁣

Aim for 2-4 sets of 10-30 repetitions depending on your fitness levels. ⁣

𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 is one of the best compound exercises you can perform for your shoulders. ⁣⁣⁣

They allow for greater variability compared to a barbell. This is shown with the alternating presses in the video.⁣⁣⁣

Another positive is that they recruit more muscle fibers due to the stabilization aspect. ⁣⁣⁣

They do, however, come at a higher risk for injury compared to a barbell or machine, because of the free range of motion. ⁣⁣⁣

Save this for when you have become comfortable with the machine press, then barbell press if possible. ⁣⁣⁣

If dumbbells are the only starting option, simply start with a lighter weight you can perform 15 repetitions or more.⁣⁣⁣

𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐬.⁣

This is a great movement for the 𝘣𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘴. It is very strict, which allows for less weight to be used. ⁣

It is excellent for finishing off an arm workout or if you have an elbow(s) that aren't feeling 100%.⁣
