We are resilient and will survive... That's the attitude our Members have exhibited these past couple of weeks.
Our Vice President saw the wall pictured in the first photo, looked me directly in the eye and said, "Those members are the reason the pictures and most important memories were untouched." I believe it. We've lost several amazing people over the years but none have been forgotten. They were looking over the Clubhouse for sure that Thursday morning.
As you can see, our most important memorabilia was left with smoke and water damage, but almost all of it can be saved. Even those flags were untouched, with the flames only inches away from one.
We will rebuild and continue giving back to our Community. That is what we are built on and that is exactly what we plan to do. You can knock us down, but can't knock us out.
Thank You to all of the local firefighters who rushed here and helped extinguish the flames. We cannot thank you all enough!!!
Thank You to everyone who has reached out, pledged help and expressed your condolences on the loss of our Clubhouse. We may have lost our building, but we haven't lost our family, our spirit, our generosity, or our love for our community. We will be back, and hope to be back stronger. For now, we thank you for your support and will keep you updated as soon as we start rising from the fire.
