When the Sister Bay crew shows up it means one thing... CRAPPIES! Weather conditions were tough and we had to work for them but you're never going to shut these guys down. Always one of our favorite trips with some of the best guys!

Big cool down this week and some much-needed rain in northern Wisconsin. A 10° drop in water temperatures has been a much needed reset. It's resulted in some hit and miss fishing over the last few days, but things will even out. Cooler water will keep fish shallow longer and that's a good thing for all of us. Have a great weekend and catch a bunch of fish!🎣

Had a fun day in May showing the Kilmer boys the ropes on Chequamegon Bay. Hair jigs were the killer presentation for us on many of our early trips. Always fish 'em slow and low. They definitely take patience but super effective!

Jim and Kathy dialed in the walleyes and big crappies during our trip in the Hayward Lakes Area a few weeks ago. Hard to believe how fast we went from long underwear to shorts. It definitely feels like summer and fish are on the move. Just gotta keep up with them!

DIRECT TIE LINE TO LURE VS SNAP.

I would always direct tie line to lure for finesse fishing but my attitude has changed over the years. Now I use snaps. Check it out and I hope this helps you catch more fish. Good luck on the water!
