The West Iron County Wall of Fame has been established to honor past distinguished graduates, community members, athletes, and others who have been contributors to life in the general West Iron County geographical area, including the former Stambaugh, Bates, and Iron River school systems. Who is that quiet achiever or person who has made our West Iron area a better place; who is that person whose influence shaped your life here and/or continues to do so? Who is that athlete, military veteran, businessman, teacher, high school sports superfan, etc. who deserves merit by being nominated to the West Iron County Wall of Fame?
Nominations are now open until May 1, 2024 by completing the form below and following the "Submission Checklist" for supporting material and mailing in to the address in the upper right-hand corner. Let's honor that special person by nominating them to the West Iron County Wall of Fame!

Welcome to the new year! How are you going to make a difference in your community and the lives of those around you?

Me? I’m gonna keep rolling with the 906 Adventure team.

It’s a fantastic way to serve the youths of this community and to be honest, it affects the parents to.

A rising tide lifts all ships and this is an awesome way to lift up your community. This year we’re looking for 25 volunteers willing to give 2 1/2 hrs 1 day a week for 9 weeks. That’s only 221/2 hrs over the course of the WHOLE summer. The commitment might be minimal, but the impact is HUGE. So hit the link below and as always if you have more questions ask!
