Hello to all disc golfers in the Upper Peninsula (da Yoop) and a broad. Recently one of the best supporters of disc golf is currently going thru difficult times due to his disc golf and sport shop (and apartment?) being severely damaged due to adjacent buildings being totally engulfed in flames and reduced to rubble. Jon Harris' store, "The Beaten Path" located on Ludington Street in Escanaba, Michigan suffered tremendous water damage and Jon needs ALL OF OUR SUPPORT. Please..do what you can to help Jon out. A letter of support would be awesome. If any of youse guys have influential friends in the disc golf community please contact them and ask for their help as well. I know Jon has a Cashapp and you can get that info from me.

THANK YOU! Eric Willman. (906) 360-4843

Mooring tubes for alternate pin/basket placements; these will be set in individual cement-filled, 5-gallon buckets and placed in the ground with the locking tab at grade/ground level. The basket and support tube slide into the mooring tube and then the 2 lock tabs are aligned and a padlock is attached. Joe Supa provided the welding and Tom "Mountain Man" Winsce and Eric Willman provided the materials.

I will be putting in red tee posts tomorrow if anyone wants to help. The Professional Disc Golf Association recommends a 130' to 230' length from tee to basket. I will be renting an 8" one-person auger and will be at the course at 11:30. I will also be driving the course with car and trailer. Free lunch and drinks for volunteers who can help for at least 2 hours. Call Eric at 906-360-4843 for more info. I will be installing this Sunday too...and replacing tee signs on the blue tee posts... :)
