It looks like we’ll be taking another weekend off. Our plans are to be at Xtreme Speedway next weekend for the $3k to win Clash on the Clay. We might make it down to North Alabama Speedway this Saturday to watch and hang out with some friends. It’s gonna be a good race, yall go check it out if you can.

I posted this picture a few days ago to show how durable the MD3 body panels are. As Paul Harvey would say, here’s the rest of the story.

While this picture looks pretty bad, it was just a racing deal. Both drivers were probably a little to blame. Dillan and Kyle May (the driver of the 55) talked on Sunday. Both accepted part of the blame and said there were absolutely no hard feelings on either side. Kyle stated that he was glad that Dillan was still able to go on to get a decent finish and it didn’t ruin his night. We hate that it ended Kyle’s night as he had a hot rod and was coming to the front after starting deep in the field.

This is how more of these situations should be handled and we look forward to racing with Kyle in the future.

We have ball games, a baby shower, and a velvet hunt all going on this weekend so no racing for us. Good luck to everyone racing. We should see yall somewhere next weekend.

In keeping with posting something positive about every track we visit this year, this week we were at North Alabama Speedway. Even though this was just our second time to race there this year, this place has pretty much become our home track. If you’ve never been there, one of first things you’ll notice is that it is one of the most scenic tracks in this area. The race track sunsets there are some of the best. The track itself is almost always racy with multiple grooves. It’s one of the most technical tracks that we have raced on, being very line sensitive and having the best line move around throughout a race (especially a 30 lapper). It has quickly became one of my favorite tracks to race on. The owners are very family oriented people and have done their best to keep gate prices down and keep kids involved. They’re always having something for the kids. This is very much appreciated by our team and family. If you get a chance to get out and support this track, be sure and do so. Hopefully we’ll see you there.

This week’s sponsor shoutout goes out to Henry Rigling at Rigling Electric. If you need a good electrician who will get the job done right the first time Henry is the man for the job. If you need electrical or plumbing supplies, stop by and see them on the corner of Highways 43 and 101 in Loretto, Tn. You can also get your gas 24 hours a day at the same location.

Saturday night recap
We went to North Alabama Speedway for the King of Mods race. 30 cars were signed in and we were 2nd fastest overall in hot laps. Just chose the wrong lane in qualifying and ended up 8th in our group.

This put us starting 4th in the 4th heat. Didn’t adjust to changing track conditions enough, but still managed to finish 3rd in the heat.

Our heat race finish locked us into a 12th starting position for the feature. The car was much better and Dillan was able to drive it to a 5th place finish.

Big thanks to everyone who came out and helped last night.

Congratulations to Logan Hickerson on picking up the King of Mods win!

As always, thanks to God for a good safe night of racing and thanks to all of our great sponsors
