Junior’s Spotlight everyone!! A couple of our local girls have been playing the West Texas Junior Champions Tour this year. Harper & Hayden Ice participated in several tournaments and they BOTH qualified for the Tour Championship tournament that was just played in Kingsland, TX. Here are some pictures of both of them throughout the season including a picture of Harper placing 5th overall at the Tour Championship! Great job girls! We are proud of you both and way to represent Iraan out there! I am excited to see both of you continue to improve and have success out on the golf course. Y’all have those golf genes for sure coming from a home that has Texas High School Golf state championship medals under the roof! Keep pushing them Mom & Dad!!

Hi everyone,

Spent some time at the golf course this evening. Course is still looking great!!

A few things to share with everyone.

1. We have junior golfers on a daily basis out here practicing & playing to improve their game. Love this!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

2. The course maintenance crew puts in a lot of hard work daily to keep the course looking the way it does. Thank you guys so much for your effort!

3. We are part of this maintenance crew as well. It’s our duty to fill iron divots with sand, pick up the random water/coke bottle laying on the ground (even though we didn’t drop it), and ESPECIALLY repairing divots on the green!! No one will take care of our course better than us locals I promise you that. If you want a true, pure putting line from your ball to the hole, please repair your divot and 2 others. Divots left un-repaired look bad and affect the condition of our greens. And if anyone needs a quick lesson on proper divot repair, please ask, someone will show you I promise.

Iraan, if you don’t know (and you probably don’t) Elias DeHoyos has been putting in the work at the golf course. I see this young man out there all the time playing, hitting the range, putting on the practice green and just flat out dedicating time to the game. (That’s what it takes, there are no substitutions!) His golf cart drives by my house daily to and from the golf course. He posted a 74 during the junior tournament this past week and won 1st place! That is crazy good!! No……It’s crazy great! Keep striving to improve, Elias, and you will achieve great things young man!! Another name from little Iraan, TX that people will see in a few years to come!

Hey Iraan, Tx and all of West Texas!! If you haven’t heard of Kamden Rodriguez (from Iraan) yet, well you will in the years to come! I’ve played several rounds of golf when he was playing along side his dad, Abel; and this young man is destined to make his mark in West Texas Golf. He is pictured here placing 2nd in both Rankin & Iraan in Junior Tournaments (please correct me if I’m wrong). The other 2 boys are from Rankin and San Angelo (again….correct me if im wrong) Ayce (from Rankin) will be a standout as well. His Dad, Arron, is an established West Texas golfing name. We have a bright future of golfers coming up in a couple of small towns in West Texas! Let’s get behind these two young Golfers and show support! Keep on keeping on little guys!! ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Proud parents for sure!! Y’all keep pushing these little guys to strive for more!!

For those who have not been out for a round of golf, we have a full service kiosk/vending machine available for your convenience! You pay green fees & cart rentals on the kiosk which will then dispense your proof of payment & key. There is golf gear such as hats, gloves, & golf balls. And don’t forget to grab yourself a snack & a beverage!!
