Louisiana Outfitters is proud to be old enough to vote! We’re excited to be entering our 18th year in business!! We’ve been blessed with great clients and exceptional growth along the way. We are also fortunate to operate at full or near full capacity year in year out.

We are currently fully booked for the upcoming Teal season. However, we are strongly considering adding a second lodge to our operation for Teal season. This would open up some availability for new guests. More info on that in the coming weeks.

We specialize in corporate groups up to 12 guests. We are located in southwest Louisiana. In the heart of Louisiana’s rice belt. All hunts are fully guided on prime / private rice farms or fresh water marshes managed specifically for waterfowl.

We offer an elevated level of service from the fantastic food our chef creates, to our clean and comfortable lodge. Also with our licensed professional guides utilizing their skills and experience to run safe, fun and productive hunts.

We are not a pretentious operation, just extremely hard working, detail oriented and dedicated to create the best overall experience possible for our guests.

We don’t rely on any slick marketing companies or ad campaigns. Nor do we rely on posting over and over on social media. We operate 95% on return clients as well as referrals / word of mouth.

This has been at the core of our business plan from day one, eighteen years ago. Our goal is to have you back year after year. We don’t cut corners on any aspect of your trip.

**Update** The dates have been filled. Thanks for all the shares, calls and texts!

Last minute openings! These are our only available dates for the remainder of the season as of now.
Tomorrow and Tuesday are both available, December 11th & 12th.

Our Lodging package which includes excellent meals, onsite s***t shooting and the fantastic fully guided hunt is available.
Or drive up morning fully guided hunt.
Our first split was very good and we have more birds as well as more blinds available now. It should be a strong remainder of the season!

Minimum group size 3 hunters.

Lodge available for up to 12 guests Monday pm.

Lodge available for 4 guests on Tuesday pm.

$700 per person per day for lodging package.

$375 per person per day for morning hunt.

All hunts are fully guided by professional guides who are licensed through La. Dept of Wildlife & Fisheries. Our hunts take place on private rice farms and a private freshwater marsh.

Sweet 16! We are excited to be entering our 16th season in business! Fittingly enough, we start our 16 day teal season tomorrow morning, with guests arriving at the lodge this afternoon.

We are fully booked, and look forward to hosting all of our guests. Most of whom are repeat clients we’re grateful to have back!

We offer an elevated level of service from the fantastic food our chef creates to our professional guides utilizing their skills and experience to run safe, fun and productive fully guided hunts.

We are not a “fancy” or pretentious operation. Just extremely hard working, and strive to create the best experience possible for our guests in all aspects of their trip.

All of our guides are fully licensed through Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. This is a commercial license requirement of all waterfowl guides.

When searching out a hunting service ask about their credentials as well as references to help ensure your best experience.

Well it doesn’t get much better than the season we just experienced!
Starting off with our September teal season all the way through the last day of duck season were phenomenal!

I’m not one to post numbers of harvested birds, but I can say we went through 50 plus cases of steel shot at lodge, and our bird cleaning bill was astronomical! Good problem to have…

Fast action hunts and full bird straps were the norm for our guests this season as you can see from the photos.
It was the most ducks we’ve had in years, hopefully the hatch this spring and summer is another strong one 🤞🤞🦆.

The 2023-2024 season dates will be ratified in March and we will start our booking process after the dates are set.

families and friends!
Also a big thanks to what we feel is the best guide staff and lodge staff in the business!

Our crew here at Louisiana Outfitters is excited to be entering our 15th Teal season, how time flies!
The birds are showing up just in time and all indications point to an excellent season.
We are currently booked full for this teal season.
We are scheduling guests for the regular duck and goose seasons this fall/winter.
We are fully insured and licensed through the state of Louisiana.

We wrapped up another successful Teal season on September 26th. Attached are a few pics of the fun!

It was nice to be blessed with the abundance of Teal and Teal hunters we had!

Most groups had excellent hunts. Again this year our key to day in / day out success was the ability to move around on 8 private farms, which provide our guests with thousands of acres of waterfowl habitat to hunt. These farms
cover a 45 mile radius from our lodge. The farms north of I-10 were more consistent all 16 days this Teal season.

Thanks again to all the guests that hunted with us,
as well as a big thanks to our hard working guide and lodge staff!
We are now turning our focus to the upcoming duck and goose season.

We are currently scheduling hunters. Now is the time to get your groups together. We do book up solid every year. Give us a call to reserve your spot, we’d love a chance to earn your business!
