The U-23 Women are starting the Thunderbird Cup off strong with a dominant win over Allegheny! 💪🏉

A complete team effort in challenging conditions, this squad battled through the heat and showed what Iowa Rugby is all about.

They’ll be back in action tomorrow at 1:00 PM on Field 2, competing for the Plate Championship. Keep it rolling, ladies — we’re proud to be cheering you on!

🏉 Summer 7’s Update 🏉

Unfortunately, there will not be an official Iowa 7’s Series this summer.

That said, we fully support and encourage local clubs hosting tournaments throughout the summer! We simply ask clubs to be mindful of weekends that already have tournaments scheduled and avoid double booking whenever possible. 🤝

The Iowa Rugby Union will continue promoting tournaments and sharing updates as long as clubs keep us in the loop. 📣

🚨 Reminder for clubs hosting events:
Please make sure your tournaments are built in Rugby Xplorer with plenty of advance notice so referees can properly prepare.

If your club is hosting a tournament this summer, please reach out so we can help spread the word and keep the calendar updated.
