The University of Iowa Trihawks Triathlon Club was founded in the fall of 2001 to bring together and support a multi-sport community of student-athletes. Since inception, our organization has shown considerable growth and regularly competes at the regional and national level. We are an official USA Triathlon (USAT) club and member of the Midwest Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MWCTC). Ours is a diverse community of athletes, including experienced competitors looking to rank on a national stage to beginners interested in making a healthy and challenging lifestyle change. You can decide how much time you want to dedicate to the sport, although we know that once you get a taste, you will fall in love with the multi-sport lifestyle, just as we have.
