We will be postponing our Annual “Takedowns and Turns” Camp that was supposed to take place this coming weekend. Stay tuned as we will be rescheduling the camp for late July or early August!

Proud to have a couple of incoming Firestorm freshman representing team Arizona at the 2026 Junior National Duals for Freestyle and Greco! Joseph Figueroa and Silas Vickery take the mat today through Saturday and start with Greco today at 8:30 am!

Coach Butterfield will be coaching the AZ Junior National Dual team for Freestyle and Greco this Wednesday through Saturday in Milwaukee, WI!

Several of last year’s national dual team members are now committed to wrestle here at ACU and we are excited to continue the tradition of coaching some of AZ’s best wrestlers in pursuit of their goals this week! If you are a wrestler from another state and would like to speak with Michael Butterfield don’t hesitate to send a dm and we will be in touch this week!

🚨5th ANNUAL TAKEDOWNS AND TURNS CAMP🚨
Come get better with us Friday, June 26th from 5 pm - 8:30 pm and Saturday, June 27th from 8 am - 1 pm for the 5th annual “Takedowns and Turns” camp held at ACU. We could not be more excited to bring in wrestlers from around the southwest to get better between two days of intentional time and technique on the feet and on top.

We would like to offer a huge thank you to Coach Skyler Crespo, who has been phenomenal in his time as an assistant coach here with the Firestorm Wrestling program. Coach Crespo has gone above and beyond in his time as both a graduate assistant, and assistant coach over the past two seasons with our team. He is going to absolutely kill it as he moves into a new role and career here within the state at Canyon View High School. Coaches impact has been undeniable as we have set so many records in his time here as an assistant coach. Thank you for all your time and effort in growing our team over these past two seasons. We will be conducting a search for a new full time assistant coach in the near future, but we want to take time to recognize the significant impact that coach has had on our program. Thank you Coach! Firestorm for life!

We are blessed with one of the best fan bases in the NAIA and we are thankful for the community that has been built up around our wrestlers here at ACU. We truly packed the house for duals this year and your support is crucial to the success of our program.

Proud of these young men who are now Alumni! These guys have helped shape the ACU wrestling program in many different ways and will be Firestorm for life! Thank you for all of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance you have shown in your time as ACU wrestlers and coaches.
