my favorite day of the week 😌😌

sunday reset !!!

my mondays are the busiest/ most stressful day of my week. it’s extremely important to me that i prepare for my week on sundays to reduce any extra stress that i can!!

i started my morning with my usualy morning routine:
- skin care
- ice roll
- make bed
then i made my to do list for sunday!!

i ate breaky , grabbed starbies (of course) & headed to SI for pchem.
(SI is basically a a free group tutoring session that Iowa offers!)


came home and made my current hyperfixation for lunch lol
sourdough cottage cheese pizza toast 🍕

after lunch i knew i needed to do my hour of PA but i was having so much anxiety about what i needed to get done today & assignments this week that i decided to go for a walk outside instead of the gym.
getting fresh air and listening to a podcast was soooo good for me & definitely put me in the best mindset to start the week off!

i went to the library to meet up w my dear friend kars

PLAN OUT YOUR STUDY SESSIONS!!
make to do lists of what you want to get done!! my number one tip is having a general idea of what you need to prioritize in the time you have!

bought new granola to go with my yogurt!
i bring the little yogurt packs & a zip lock baggie of granola with me to the library to snack on

took a little nap in between studying & work tonight

3-11 pm hospital shift (i read on my break so i could journal & go straight to bed when i get home)

today was a gentle reminder to find joy in all the simple things

got to spend my morning in one of my favorite places with the cutest (& smallest) patients 🍼🏥

i’ve been feeling so exhausted lately no matter how much sleep i’m getting. i decided to listen to my body & let my four hours of running around the hospital floor be considered my one hour of daily movement
this past week has been full of early mornings, grinding workouts in the gym, and also feeling extremely overwhelmed with the semester already. i let myself take a nap before heading home.
- something i’m working on in 2024 is being able to find a healthy balance between being touch on myself so i can reach my goals & allowing myself rest when it is genuinely needed

of course i had to make a pit stop to see my favorite boy

my sissys were so excited to see me, i love them endlessly ☺️☺️

snuggled up with walter & violet read us one of her favorite princess storys, how wholesome 🥹

watched a really good movie with my dad🍿 (society of the snow)

crawled in bed to journal/read/write out my sunday reset list

made my bed, did my skin care routine, checked emails, & made breakfast all before my zoom lecture

pre workout i had an alani (duh) & some yogurt + granola

i hit pull day at the rec 💪🏻
unpopular opinion but i actually enjoy being around so many people , it makes me happy

chicken fiesta wrap for some extra protein post lift

got ready & headed to starbs for my last lecture + some emails + scheduling clients

grandma & papa came up to iowa city & took my out to din din, i love them
