For some, the season is finished. For others, gun tags are still hot. Either way, the whitetail rut is winding down across the country, and your herd is running on fumes.
This is the most critical time of year for deer management.
Mature bucks have lost up to 30% of their body weight chasing does. Pregnant does are trying to rebuild reserves before winter. Their recovery now dictates their antler growth and fawn survival next year. You can't leave this to chance.
Remember to always follow your local hunting and feeding laws.
