Just a reminder, Monday we will finish front 9 aerification. Tees collars and approaches are next and will be done throughout the next two weeks.

I will be spraying greens Wednesday morning early to put them to bed for the winter.

Trees are still coming out and new ones going in.

The 7th I will be taking my right of way pesticide test because we now have residential area so requirements are different then on the course. Plus, I will be increasing the management of the front of the entrance to provide a better visual experience and alone the boulevard.

Well, only 1/2 rain overnight. Cooler, windy weather on tap for this week and remainder of October. Time to start prepping for winter.

Looks like rain Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Way to dry for 3/4 inches to do much good so normal maintenance schedule Monday 0700 start time

Tees, greens, roughs. Clean up on trees and flower beds.

Monday starts aerification of greens, Tuesday and Wednesday will be tees and collars and then fairways until the ground freezes.

We may get 12 fairway leveled out in a year or three.

We changed the way bunkers are raked now. Instead of paddles that were on the sand pros that did nothing but compact the sand, we now use spring rakes which fluff up the sand. sorry guys n gals, no more putting out of the bunker. You'll have to become familiar with your wedges again 😁😁😂
