Gain an edge on the competition by attending our High School Prep camp. Players will receive individual and group instruction, followed by a 9-hole competitive match at Finkbine Field Golf Course. Players will learn how to prepare for competition with the same methods utilized by the Iowa Hawkeyes Men's Golf team. Group instruction will cover: nutrition, pre and post-round routines, and course strategy. Registration is now live for our Hawkeye Men's Golf Summer camp!

Join the Iowa Men's Golf coaching staff at Hoak Golf Academy, right here on the University of Iowa Campus. Iowa Men's Head Golf Coach, Tyler Stith, Assistant Coach, Charlie Hoyle, and Volunteer Assistant Coach, Steven Ihm are excited to invite campers to participate in this three-night Hawkeye golf experience.

Hoak Golf Academy summer camps at University of Iowa are designed for boys, ages 10-18, who are looking to receive instruction on all facets of the game in a Division I golf setting. Upon arrival, all camp participants are evaluated by the coaching staff and placed into groups enabling their own instructional needs to be met throughout the week.
Participants stay on campus in Catlett Hall and travel a short distance to the University's Finkbine Golf Course to participate in daily instruction and staff-supervised course play. Campers will receive daily instruction at our team dedicated Hoak Family Golf Complex (on-site at Finkbine) where the Iowa Golf teams practice.

Spring is just around the corner and Hoak Golf Academy is proud to open registration for our spring golf camps! We have 4 separate age divisions to ensure that your junior golfer gets all the personalized attention they deserve. Our “Birdies” and “Eagles” age divisions are for junior ages 5–10, these are designed to introduce many fundamentals of the game of golf in a fun and inclusive environment. Our “Aces” and “Elite” camps are designed for juniors aged 11-18 who love to compete and want to take their game to the next level.

Camp registrations will be on a per week basis with camps starting May 2nd and running through June 6th allowing for maximum flexibility. Birdies and Eagles camps will be on Tuesday evenings. Aces and Elite camps will be on Thursdays.

Join Hawkeye Men's Golf Coaching Staff for a 3-hour training session designed for high school aged students (14-18). Our sessions will have an initial skill assessment followed by an instructional segment with the goal of helping students prepare for the upcoming golf season. Students will receive full use of the Hoak Family Golf Complex where the University of Iowa golf programs play and practice. Hoak Family Golf Complex possesses 2 full trackman simulators, along with a 3200 square foot putting and chipping green, equipped with Puttview Technology.

The Goal of this camp is to give campers the chance to hone in their skills just before the golf season begins. Campers will spend 3 hours in small groups working on all facets of the game. They will go through a variety of drills and games designed to improve not only technical skills but also their feel and even aspects of their mental game.

There are two sessions to choose from, a morning session from 8am-11am and an afternoon session from 12pm-3pm. Camp will be open to any and all students who meet the age and gender requirements.
