Can we show some love for these 2 guys!? Kellen and Isaac (both dads of girls on the team) have been showing up every week for the past 3 months to teach freestyle for free to any girls who wanted to lace up. They've worked with girls from CCA, City, Liberty, and West. They love the sport of wrestling, what it teaches and who it makes, and we love them! 🙌 🤼‍♀️

Last season, our team was invited to the Xtream Arena to compete in a preliminary dual leading up to the Ukraine vs. USA Women's dual. Wrestling in Iowa City offers so many opportunities for our high school girl wrestlers. The Iowa City Area Sports Commission and the Iowa Women's Wrestling Club are building on the already strong wrestling foundation here and making international connections.

We had a blast helping the Horn Hornets as they work towards their Read-a-thon goals on Friday. Setting goals is an important habit. Taking time to do the little things every day is what will contribute the most to your growth.

It's time for the Club West - Iowa City West High School Athletic Booster Club pancake breakfast!

Club West Pancake Day will be Saturday, March 28th from 7am-11am this year! Please share this email with everyone you can, and please make sure to follow us on Instagram whs_club_west and help promote this event!

All of the money raised for this event goes directly to Club West, as City and Liberty are now holding their own events after canceling the joint event last year. Now more than ever, we need to raise as much money as possible to help our coaches and athletes at West High get the support they need!
