We had 26 members showed up to our Saturday morning work-party with ideal weather. We worked on cleaning outhouses, continue to rebuild 3D's & target butts, cut retaining wall blocks, clear trails, glue targets & haul brush were just some of the tasks that were completed. THANK YOU to all for helping us make our range one of the best. Lamb tacos with beans & rice were served to all the workers.
36 members attended our General meeting during which nominations were opened for 2027-28 officers and also discuss monthly club business. Meeting money pot was $214, and the winner was not present, as you must be present to win.
20 shooters attended Club Shoot Sunday "Funday". We shot 17 unmarked 3D's including some does playing interference, steel bear and a running deer clout. Money pot winners were; 1st - Tanner G/Wayne H winning $10 ea. 2nd - Mike A/Hammer F winning $5 ea. Participation raffle winner was Rob S winning a Lodi Archery $25 gift card. Running deer clout winner was Tanner G winning a LB hat. Next month's shoot will be on Oct 11th. Registration 7am to 9am, must be on the course by 9am. All losing participation raffle tickets are entered into the 2nd chance drawing for a Feral goat 3D, along with other prizes at our season finale raffle in November.

Tomorrow is our Club Shoot Sunday/Funday event. This events is open to the public, members $5, non-members $10, 11yrs and under are free. Our shoot is 18 unmarked 3D's targets, hunting conditions, no broadheads, however range finders are OK. It’s a 1 arrow shoot, 2nd arrow if you miss. If you are uncomfortable shooting the longer distances, it’s OK to move up as long as you stay inline with the target.
Optional $2 high/low blind draw money shoot. Included in your fee will be a running deer clout. Registration will be from 7am to 9am and can be shot in less than two hours. Participation raffle at the end of the event and if not present, you can claim your prize at the following Club Shoot. All losing tickets go to a 2nd chance drawing for a feral goat 3D target to be drawn at the season finale in November, must be present to win

Activities for our up coming Club Shoot Weekend, taking place on Sept 12th and 13th are as follows.
On Saturday morning, a work-party is scheduled from 8 am to 11 am, during which we will attend to various tasks, see Range Masters for assignments upon arrival. Lunch will be provided for the workers after the work-party. The General Meeting starts at 12:00 noon, then a short Board meeting will follow.
On Sunday, we will be hosting a 18 target unmarked 3D shoot, optional high/low blind draw money shoot along with a running deer clout. Registration is open at 7am and closes at 9am. Participation raffle will be drawn. Winner will be posted and can be redeemed before you leave or at next month’s shoot. All losing tickets go to a 2nd chance drawing for a feral goat 3D target along with other items to be drawn at the season finale on November 8th, must be present to win. Don’t miss out on the fun! The course can be shot in less than 2 hrs. Hope to see you there!

Last Friday night, the Delta Veteran Center spent the evening at the range. They invited Veterans from other groups along with their families. The evening started off at the practice range getting some shooting in before heading down to our building for a very nice meal. Afterwards the group split up and some headed out to shoot our unmarked course and the others headed back to the practice range. All branches of the military were represented for a fun filled evening.
