We had 25 members participate in our Saturday morning work-party. Worked on clearing brush from trails, clean outhouses, organize supply trailer & surrounding area, split firewood, fill potholes, re-stack sandbags were just some of the tasks that were completed. THANK YOU to all that are helping us to keep forward progress with range improvements. Thanks Again!
30 members attended our General meeting. We welcomed new members; Casey/Candice Henke, Vincent/Katie Schiro & James/Marie Gossett to our LB family. Meeting went pretty quick, however we did approve purchasing to large 96" ceiling fans for the building. Meeting money pot was $150, and the winner was Bill Finley. Sorry Bill, you must be present to win.
30 shooters attended Club Shoot Sunday "Funday". Weather was perfect with overcast skies. We even had a rare sighting in the early morning hours, Bill M getting ready for opening day. We shot 15 unmarked 3D's including some does playing interference, steel bear and a running deer clout along with a ping pong challenge. Money pot winners were; 1st - Cullen A/AlvinK winning $10ea. 2nd tie - John M/Barb B & Jim L/ Tanner G all winning $6 ea. Participation raffle winner was Tanner G winning a Lodi Archery $25 gift card. Running deer winner was Kevin M winning a free shoot. Ping pong ball winner was John M winning a LB hat. Next month's shoot will be on August 9th. Registration 7am to 9am, must be on the course by 9am. All losing participation raffle tickets are entered into the 2nd chance drawing for a Feral goat 3D, along with other prizes at our season finale raffle in November.
