⚠️ Warning long inspirational post ahead:
If you're training for a 5K, 10K, or even looking ahead to longer distances, remember this: every strong runner starts exactly where you are right now. Endurance isn't built overnight, and speed doesn't suddenly appear— it's earned through consistency, smart training, and belief in your own potential.
My passion for coaching comes from living this journey myself. When I first started racing, I struggled to hold a steady pace in a 5K. I remember finishing one of my earliest races feeling completely defeated—legs burning, lungs tight, certain I would never be "fast." But instead of giving up, I committed to showing up.
Week after week, I worked to build stronger form, better breathing, and more confidence during the tough miles. The progress was slow at first, but it was real. My 5K time dropped. Then my 10K followed. Eventually, I crossed the finish line of a half marathon with a personal best I once thought was impossible. Not because I was the strongest or fastest athlete, but becaunse I stopped letting doubt set my limits.
That's what I want for you.
In our training together, we'll work on
* building endurance that lets you run stronger and longer
* improving strength so your body supports the speed you're capable of
* developing mental resilience-the quiet confidence that carries you through every mile
You already have what it takes. My job is to help you uncover it, embrace it, and run with it-literally.
Let's get you to that next starting line feeling prepared, powerful, and ready to surprise yourself.
I will continue to post and share my running story.
