Our main focus is on the XFDA (Extreme Fast Draw Association). However, most of our members participate in a variety of cowboy styles of fast draw. We shoot western-style, single action, six-shooter revolvers in 45lc. We shoot wax bullets from 15 feet at a "blocker" (20" x 40") steel target. s a combination of speed and accuracy, with an emphasis on speed! This is the quickest thing that you can do with a gun or pretty much anything else! Besides being quick, it's loads of fun! But one of the best things is that if you're just starting and not that quick (yet), you won't be disappointed. Everyone has a kpi number that they also have to beat, so we are just as much competing against ourselves as our opponents. The kpi helps to ensure that all competitors are striving to do their best, and it also helps to equalize the difference between the fast and not-so-fast shooters.
